Shea-Porter Statement on TIGER Funding for Sarah Mildred Long Bridge

Today, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter released the following statement regarding the $25 million TIGER VI grant to replace the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge.

"This is good government to invest in our infrastructure, and I am very pleased that $25 million in funds will come to the Seacoast to replace the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge," said Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter. "The New Hampshire and Maine delegations supported this TIGER grant because we all understand that the Sarah Long Bridge is vital to our safety, our economy, and national security. I congratulate the New Hampshire and Maine Departments of Transportation for their successful application."
